Restoring smiles

3 mins read Children's dentistry
Dentist Olumide Ojo, of Refresh Dental in Twickenham, London, describes himself as a ‘general dentist with a huge passion for preventative care and restoring smiles’. Here, he talks about THE most important ‘take home’ message for patients

Good oral health starts with good education and I have a passion for raising awareness, particularly among the younger generation. Within my practice’s locality, I visit schools to give educational talks on the importance of good toothbrushing and oral hygiene. My wife even created a poem and some characters to illustrate that ‘good teeth are happy’ and ‘bad teeth are sad’.

My aim is to enhance my patients’ quality of life by giving them a healthy and long-lasting smile and, at all times, to do no harm. Minimally invasive techniques, such as simple realignment, whitening and composite bonding, have allowed us to reduce the drilling of healthy teeth.
