What are the challenges in a private practice for a dental nurse?
There is a high demand in private practice for cosmetic dental treatments, such as bridges, veneers, crowns, orthodontic treatment, implants and so on. Preparing for – and carrying out – these procedures back to back can be physically tiring.
As there is a shortage of dental nurses, it can be challenging having to work with two different dentists in two different surgeries. This means double the load but, even though this can be stressful at times, I appreciate the lessons I have learnt and the knowledge I have gained.
