Tryst Dental’s business manager and former football player Linsey Paton explains why dental nurse Jade O’Brien’s first-class attitude won her praise – and how pitching in and shared goals make for an award-winning team

Tryst Dental Practice is located in the town of Stenhousemuir in Central Scotland. It lies within the Falkirk council area of Scotland and is an award-winning practice. Mostly, it has been recognised for its charitable work in the community.

Business manager Linsey Paton is a former football player for Scotland at under 16 level and has spent time coaching women’s football in US. She knows all about what it takes to be a team player – and is keen to develop this ethos within the practice, as well as in the community.

The practice provided start-up funding for walking football at Stenhousemuir FC and currently sponsors their Mini Maroons children’s programme. It also works with Tryst Community Sports Club and the British Heart Foundation to provide free-to-attend CPR training sessions to raise awareness of the ‘Call; Push; Rescue’ campaign, as well as providing information on local events and services. These projects demonstrate a commitment to the community to help improve not only their dental health but their general health, too.
