When it comes to work wear, what really counts in the surgery? Is it a case of style over comfort – or do we prefer easy-fitting uniforms that move when we do?

We've moved on leaps and bounds since the starched collars and thick belts of yesteryear. In practical terms, comfort has surpassed presentation within the workplace – and that includes the dental practice – as we move towards an age where traditional expectations have evolved to take into account function and comfort as well as aesthetic appeal.

However, that is not to say that looking smart and presentable now matters less. Arguably, the more casual uniforms of this era continue to tick the boxes when it comes work wear for a smart and branded team of professionals – with the more modern-day scrubs, for example, meeting practical requirements as well.
