You are all familiar with your Scope of Practice – essentially to provide clinical and other support to registrant and patients. You may also be aware of the additional skills the GDC suggests you could develop – from oral health education to intra- and extra-oral photography. And then there are the additional skills you can carry out under the direction of another registrant, such as taking radiographs or taking impressions.
But, what of the tasks in your practice that are within the roles of other (non-clinical) team members with which that you can assist or step in to to cover due to sickness or annual leave?
