Breathing fire into kids’ oral health care

JDRM Dental Care is a group of seven family dental practices owned by husband and wife, Jai Dhaliwal and Ruby Mahal. Located across Leicestershire and the Rutland areas, the practices offer both NHS and private dentistry. The group's award-winning teams are dedicated to providing 'compassionate, comprehensive dental care in a safe and comfortable environment'. But there has been a new addition to the team this year who is making waves in the oral health care of its immediate community and beyond – a blue cuddly toy dragon who goes by the name of Malcolm.

Malc and his team of experienced dental nurses travel around Leicestershire and Rutland, giving guidance to improve the oral health of local communities. Already, their initial aim to reach 12,000 people has been surpassed, and there are now plans for Malcolm to deliver his oral health messages further afield. But more of this later.
