Back pain has many possible causes and there are many possible solutions. This article, written by an author with many years of previous experience working as a dentist, is intended as a basic overview of some general principles. Much of the focus on the problem of back pain in dentistry has traditionally been on factors such as seats, posture, and ergonomics. While these should all be considered, a more comprehensive and holistic approach is advocated.
