The UK immigration laws on EU nationals living in the UK is set to change now that Article 50 has been triggered. And immigration law firm, Migrate UK, is warning EU nationals and employers in the medical sector of the strict criteria and timings required to become a ‘qualified person’ eligible for British Nationality status.
For any EU nationals who haven't acted already – including dentists and dental nurses – Migrate UK is advising workers to take prompt action to try to safeguard their future in Britain as the government has yet to guarantee the rights of EU citizens in Britain.
The firm has published a free comprehensive roadmap for workers, self-employed, job-seekers and UK employers concerned about the future skills of their workforce on how to secure permanent residence (PR) and British nationality status under current immigration legislation.
